So I have two full hours a day Monday through Friday where I drive my daughter and a friend to swim team practice to another town 20 minutes away. The economy being what it is I cannot drop them off come home and then go back to get them. So I take projects with me and fill up that two hours with my MP3 player and some alone time with my scrapbooking projects. The pool has tables in the foyer where I can spred out my stuff and jam to the music and work uninterrupted for two whole hours. Since I live in a house with 9 other people uninteruption is unheard of. Here is what I did yesterday with my time. I love the simplicity of the paper bag books and have been asked to do some for some of the kids on the swim team.

Cuttlebug Embossing folder giveaway
So the team over at Cuttlebug Challenges is giving away a new yet to be released Cardinal Embossing folder. I have to say I do not own a Cuttlebug. Ok I know what your thinking , for those of you who don't know my friends think I own everything scrapbook related but the truth of the matter is, there are things I do not own. I never got the point of the cuttlebug because I already had the Cricut and I couldn't see owning another diecut machine. I now know I must own a cuttlebug for the embossing feature alone. So check out this site and comment on the project so you too can get in on this giveaway.

Thing I've done lately
My daughter Rachel and I attended our first online crop this weekend. They gave us a list of challenges to do and then drew randonm participants to win prizes. So here is what we did. The caramel layout Rachel did as well as the iris fold cat. Thanks for looking.
