Brag Books

SO I liked these books so much that I made two more.

Cuttlebug Embossing folder giveaway

So the team over at Cuttlebug Challenges is giving away a new yet to be released Cardinal Embossing folder. I have to say I do not own a Cuttlebug. Ok I know what your thinking , for those of you who don't know my friends think I own everything scrapbook related but the truth of the matter is, there are things I do not own. I never got the point of the cuttlebug because I already had the Cricut and I couldn't see owning another diecut machine. I now know I must own a cuttlebug for the embossing feature alone. So check out this site and comment on the project so you too can get in on this giveaway.

www.bluemoonscrapbooking.blogspot.com
This blog is having a contest and giveaways of 7gypsy products all week long so go over and check them out.

Thing I've done lately

My daughter Rachel and I attended our first online crop this weekend. They gave us a list of challenges to do and then drew randonm participants to win prizes. So here is what we did. The caramel layout Rachel did as well as the iris fold cat. Thanks for looking.

Christmas Brag Book

Over at Rubies Studio Maghan made a Christmas brag book and I wanted to copy it and show you my finished project. While she used squares for her cover I had all these coasters from Olive Garden that my niece kyped for me. We were there having lunch one day and I looked at the coasters and said I wish I had more of them because they would make a great mini album. Right behind me was this huge stack of coasters and we left with them. I dont advocate kyping the coasters while your in a restaurant so ask, more than likely if you have been nice to your waiter they will give you some. Anyways, last night while watching Megan make this really terrific accordian fold book it came to me that this would be a perfect time to pull out those coaster and use them. Meghan made her accordian paper a bit bigger than mine, I needed to make mine small enough to fit inside the circle. Mine is made at 2 1/2 inches while hers was 3. If you want to see the video she did, which is amazing, go over to www.aboverubiesstudio.com
She is giving away prizes for the new launch of her website so comment on some of her posts and maybe you will win. Thanks for looking.

Gypsy

Ok so I got my new gypsy and I LOVE it, love it love it love it love it love it, and did I mention I love it. I used it a lot this weekend and am so glad I bought it. I do however not love that it did not come with an instruction manual. It has been a little bit of a challenge to play with it when you dont know what you are doing.
